One-time costs like a new roof, a fence or a big repair are set apart from everyday spending and replaced by a set-aside you choose. Income that paused, like a rental between tenants, can be entered at its usual amount.
See exactly what each category holds
Open any category to see every payee and payment in it. Untick a one-off and it moves to one-time costs. Bills are grouped by how often they come, monthly, every 3 months or every 6 months, with what's due this month and next.
Works with the files you already have
Most banks and cards have Download or Export on their transactions page. Choose CSV, or Quicken / QFX if offered. Statement PDFs from many banks and brokerages work too.
Questions
Do I have to link my bank account?
No. You download your own transaction files and drop them in. There's no bank login and no third-party connection.
Does it double count transfers and card payments?
No. Transfers between your own accounts and card payments are matched and taken out, so each dollar counts once.
Where is my data kept?
Nowhere outside your browser. Close the tab and the transactions are gone; only your answers (like who a payer is) are kept in your own browser.
